Samsung r135 hack

Click to expand Homer J. Hi, please help me with my DVD-R I moved to the US from Germany due to business. So, I still want to watch my german DVD's. But none of the hacks above worked on mine. When I press menu I get the Menu screen. Please help. I'm actually looking for upconversion through component cables. Can someone tell me if this hack does that as well, or if there is some other hack for that?

I have one and my player is now region "9". Phindus Excellent!!!! I actually thought it would work on the DVDR I just have 3 questions: 1 Hackeroonie, can you tell me where you got these numbers for R1 from: 2, 9, 3, 3, 4?

Perhaps somebody else can help you on those questions. Power on your player 1. Press the Repeat button not A-B button , just Repeat on your remote control 2.

Using your remote control enter the code below, note that you must know what Region your player is CURRENTLY set to in order to know which code is appropriate: for Region 1 use 2, 9, 3, 3 and 4 for Region 2 use 3, 8, 7, 6 and 7 for Region 3 use 5, 6, 7, 3 and 2 for Region 4 use 7, 6, 8, 8 and 4 for Region 5 use 5, 3, 8, 1 and 4 for Region 6 use 2, 4, 4, 6 and 2 3.

A code should be displayed on the screen indicating the current Region setting of your unit. Press the 9 or 0 button on your remote control for Region free, or 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2 and so on.

I tried from cold, with no disc in the tray. I did exactly as the instructions say. But I can only confirm the same things as last time, there is no 'A-B Repeat' button on the remote, so I can only ever press the 'Repeat' button and the code simply changes the channel. No code appears at the end only the number of the last button pressed, either 6 or 7.

My machine is definately region 2, built in Slovakia, like SOKs machine if that makes a difference. You're an absolute star Digton. I didn't need to do it from cold but insted powered on the unit from the handset, without a disc loaded it won't work with one in, I tried , and then exactly as digton described.

The backup will be region free, so should play if it's not also is using a TV system your player can't handle.
